Good News Stories

The team wanted to share the good news stories that have occurred in the local area over the last week, following the work the team has been doing. This is the work that the teams of Beckenham Town and Copers Cope, Clock House, Kelsey and Eden Park and Shortlands and Park Langley have been a part of.  

The teams have assisted local PCSO with a shoplifter, a male was detained and arrested for shoplifting, the male was charged and remanded to appear in court for the offence of Theft from a Shop. 

Officers assisted with reassurance in the local community following a serious incident in Crystal Palace. Enquires are still ongoing and reassurance will continue to be provided. 

The teams have been assisting Bromley Response team this week and have completed a number of calls/incidents around the Bromley Borough. 

Following an incident of criminal damage and assault that occurred in Beckenham M&S, the team have responded following a small chase three males were detained and arrested for Shoplifting, Criminal Damage, Assault and Public Order Section 4, the three males were taken to custody and interviewed. Further investigations are to be conducted during this time the males have been bailed for all the offences. 

The Clock House team have had a meeting with Clarion Housing Association to discuss the joint agency action that will be taking place in order to protect residents and the wider community.
